How to Add/Edit Welsh Levels of Care from the Mobile App?
In order to add and edit Welsh Levels of Care, please contact Civica Support to enable this on your account. Once this has been completed, it needs to be enabled for each applicable group by an Account Manager via Settings -> Welsh Levels of Care, then ticking the box next to the appropriate team(s).
Once you have logged into the mobile app, go to view today's visits. Select one of these visits and click on the 'Record Welsh Levels of Care' button.
When the clinician identifies the patient's level of care, this will be inputted on the 'Record Welsh Levels of Care' button. The patient's level will then be displayed.
The selected level will be recorded and displayed on the visit. The mobile app will also show the recent level for that patient's visits.
Please note: you will be unable to check out of a visit without first setting a patient's Welsh Level of Care - this will result in an error message being shown. In order to successfully check out of a visit, a Welsh Level of Care must be set for that visit.
When viewing the list of visits on the mobile app, each visit will show the patient's Welsh Level of Care.
-
When there are more than one clinician visiting a patient i.e. a double up visit, the patient will be assessed and the Welsh Level of Care will be agreed and inputted by both clinicians.
-
When clinicians are viewing patient's visits on the mobile app that have been in the past, the identified Welsh Level of Care will be from the previous visit.
-
When viewing a patient's visits for today, each patient will have a displayed Welsh Level of Care from the previous visit.
-
When viewing visits in the future, it will show the Welsh Level of Care set for that patient's most recent visit.
-
A coloured circle with the level and the time and date submitted will also be shown.
When viewing a specific visit, the mobile app will display the three previous Welsh Levels of Care set for that patient. These will show in coloured circles with the name of the staff member who submitted it and the date and time recorded.
The Welsh Levels of Care will be hidden at first and you click 'show' to reveal them. This will show additional recent visit information along with the Welsh Levels of Care.
Please note: if Welsh Levels of Care is not submitted and the visit has Welsh Levels of Care enabled, the mobile app will not allow the staff member to check out until the Welsh Levels of Care have been recorded.
If you tap the ‘Check Out' button it will warn you by saying 'Please enter a Welsh Level of Care before checking out’.
On occasion there will be visits which do not require patient contact e.g. a support visit to a relative or to drop off equipment. Therefore, there is an additional drop down option called ‘No Patient Contact’ for these visits.
