NHS Bands

NHS Staff work across bands 2-9 indicating different levels of responsibility and qualification. Civica Scheduling allows users to select which band a staff member is in.

We have introduced extra staff bands for staff that maybe, Agency, Students, Bank or other.

Staff Details

When adding/editing staff profiles on Civica Scheduling there is a dropdown option to select which band a staff member is in. Click here for more information on adding/editing staff details.

Services

When adding a service on a visit, Lowest Qualified Band allows admin users to set which band level/s are more appropriately suited to the service visits. For example, if Band 5 has been selected as the Lowest Qualified Band, it means Band 5+ are best options. Please note - Civica Scheduling will not give warning messages if the user with a higher band has been allocated to the visit. This is more of a guidance to allocations and this tool allows for flexibility to adhere for variety of circumstances. Click here for more information on adding a service.

Reporting

NHS Bands has also been introduced to our Imports and Custom Reports tools. You can extract data such as a list of staff members against which band has been selected or services against which lowest qualified band has been selected.
