In some cases it may be necessary to create a schedule for a Patient that occurs every other day. As a week does not have an equal number of days you have to create 2 separate repeating events.
1a. Go to the Patient's profile by searching for their name in the search function located under the Log out button, or by going to the Patients menu in the banner bar and then View all Patients, click the name of the Patient.
1b. From the Patient's profile click the green Add Events button in the top right corner.
1c. Click on the Detailed Repeating Event tab and select the Event Group and Service you want to be repeated every other day.
1d. In the When section, set the starting date e.g. 25/10/20 (Week 1). Select the Weekly Interval tab ensuring its set to repeating every 2 weeks then tick the following days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. (PLEASE NOTE: This is if your week starts on Monday, if it doesn't start on Monday, pick the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th days)
1e. When you have ticked the days for the week, fill in the Time and Default User for each day. To save the event click the green Save Repeating Event and Generate Events button.
2a. To create the second repeating event (Week 2) here's what to do next: From the Patient's profile click Add Events again.
2b. Click on the Detailed Repeating Event tab and select the Event Group and Service you want to be repeated every other day.
2c. In the 'When' section, set the start date to be the week after the first one you set e.g. 01/11/20. (Week 2) Select Weekly Interval and to repeat every 2 weeks. Tick the following days: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. (PLEASE NOTE: This is if your week starts on Monday, if it doesn't start on Monday, pick the 2nd, 4th and 6th days)
2e. When you have ticked the days for the week, fill in the Time and Default User for each day. To save the event click the green Save Repeating Event and Generate Events button.
2f. Now you will have successfully set up a schedule that will create visits for every other day. You can double-check this by going to the Patient's profile and clicking on Upcoming Events.
