This guide is for Administrators. If you are a staff member who would like to know how to check in/out via this method, please see the following guide: Check in/out via Text Message (SMS)
In order to enable this, you will first need to go to the staff member's profile and click on the orange 'Edit' button.
Once here, you will need to make sure the staff member has a valid Mobile Number (it will highlight the box in red to let you know if it is not valid).
The next step will be to tick the box underneath that says "Mobile Number enabled for SMS two factor authentication" , then save these changes.
The staff member will then receive a text message stating that they have been setup for using SMS, with a link to a guide on how to do this. Once this has been enabled, any users which use the SMS check in/out must be using a unique mobile number, if the mobile number is already in use then you will receive an error explaining this when you try to save the profile.
If the box is not visible, this means that Two Factor SMS isn't enabled on your account, you will need to contact Civica Scheduling Support in order for this to be enabled for you.
