The first thing you will need to do is make sure you have default staff set for your repeating events/care plans, you can find out how to do this by following the guide below: How do I set or change default staff / carers?
Once you have your default staff members set, you will be able to go to the compact view and load all the visits you want to allocate.
Next, click on the "load" button which will display the visits.
Now an orange button will appear in the top right-hand corner of the page called "Allocate Staff". You will need to click this button to allocate all of the staff.
You will see a box appear at the top of the page letting you know how many it has successfully allocated. Also, a pop-up screen will ask you to refresh the page so it updates to show all the allocations.
When you click the button, it will look through every unallocated visit you currently have loaded on the screen and checks for their default staff, if that visit does have a default staff member then it will check to see if they are available to be allocated to those visits and then allocate them if so.
Please note that it will not allocate a job automatically if there is a problem/clash, if the staff member is unavailable or if that visit has been manually allocated.
