To Add, Archive or Unarchive a message type in Civica Scheduling is simple but you must be set to the "Account Manager" role to have the ability to do this. (You will be able to tell if you're set as an Account Manager because you will be able to see "Settings" in the top right next to the "Log out" button.)
You can add custom message types yourself through the "Settings" button on the top right of the Civica Scheduling banner bar.
Once you're on the settings screen you'll notice a "Messages Types" tab, click on this to be able to Add or Archive messages types.
To add a message type, first click inside of the text box and insert the name of the message type you are looking to add. Then click "Add Message Type" to save it.
You will now be able to see that new message type under the "Active Messages Types" section on the settings page as well as on the messaging sections of Civica Scheduling.
Archiving Message Types
In order to archive message types, we do this by finding the active message type that we want to archive under the "Active Messages Types" section and selecting the red "Archive" button on the right-hand side of it.
Once we select the "Archive" button, the message type will be moved onto the "Archived Messages Types" to confirm that the message type has been archived.
Unarchiving Message Types
If we then wish to unarchive this message type we can follow very similar instructions. We first find the archived message that we want to unarchive under the "Archived Messages Types" section and selecting the green "Unarchive" button.
The message type will now move onto the "Active Messages Types" section and will now be usable throughout Civica Scheduling.
