This may be because the user has been set to not show when allocating.
- You can check what users are able to be allocated by clicking on the User menu then View all Users. This will bring up a list of all users and one of the columns says whether they can be allocated. If the field says "Yes" this means that the user can be allocated to events, if the field says "No" then the user is set not to be allocatable.
- If you want to edit the user to be able to allocate to events. Click on the orange Edit button next to their name.
- This will bring up the Edit User page. Scroll to the bottom where it says can be allocated (show in Week View/ Day View) and tick the box. Press the green Save user button to confirm the choice.
- If you go back to View all Users, the user you just edited will now be allocatable in Week View and Day View.
