No, you do not require an email address for every new user account within the system. If you do not want the new accounts to log into the system then you must not give them an email address. Good examples of these are sub contractors or if you only give your staff printed job sheets rather than requiring them to log into the mobile app.
If you enter an email address they will be sent a log in to the system.
There may be some examples where you would like to store an email address with a user account, but do not want them to have a log in to the system. In these cases, we can set up an additional field in order to store the email address - this field is not used for sending log in details to them. Please contact us if you would like to have an additional field set up to store an email address without being used for login purposes.
